Prices include VAT. Every unit size, its dimensions and the price by floor and track are in the full price list.
The simple way to estimate the price is by the size of the home you are clearing. The table shows the starting price in each region, on the over-a-year track and the lowest-priced floor. In Israel apartments are counted by rooms including the living room, so a “3-room apartment” has two bedrooms. Prices include VAT.

The Tel Aviv units are smaller because they are inside the city. For a large apartment you combine two units there, or choose the Yakum branch, about 16 minutes from the Glilot interchange on Route 2. Every size, dimension and price by floor and track is in the full price list.
Location. In central Tel Aviv every square metre is expensive, and the rent and municipal taxes of the facility roll into the price of each unit. Outside the big cities we could build a spacious, modern site, and that is how the Sharon branch in Kibbutz Yakum came to be: our largest units, at our most comfortable prices. Kiryat Anavim, near Jerusalem, sits in the middle. The difference is real-estate prices only. Security, cleaning and service are the same at every branch. If you are flexible on location, this is the first place to save.
Unit size. You pay for volume, so every size you save is worth a few hundred shekels a month. Dismantling beds, tables and wardrobes before the move shrinks the volume dramatically, and quite often a dismantled 3-room apartment fits into the unit meant for a 2-room one.
The floor. In Yakum a unit on the second floor is cheaper than the same size on the ground floor. If you do not plan to visit every week, you save without giving anything up.
The commitment track. No commitment, six months to a year, or over a year. The earlier you know the period will be long, the lower the monthly price. In Yakum, for example, a MEDIUM unit on the ground floor costs ₪910 on the flexible track and ₪820 with an over-a-year commitment.
And insurance? It is not part of the price, and it is set by the value you declare: ₪1.8 per ₪1,000. So you pay exactly for what you own, not for someone else’s estimate.
And what you do not pay for: no registration fee, no charge for your own lock, and no charge for visits to the unit during opening hours.
Contents insurance: not included in the price. You can insure the contents on the full value you declare, at ₪1.8 per ₪1,000.

Good preparation is the difference between contents that come home exactly as they left and unpleasant surprises. This is how to do it, item by item.
Dismantle everything that comes apart: beds, tables, wardrobes and shelves. Keep the screws in a sealed bag taped to the largest part. Clean and dry wooden surfaces well, and cover them with fabric or a moving blanket, not cling film, so the wood keeps breathing.
Vacuum the seams, and if there are stains, clean them and let them dry completely before packing. Wrap in a breathable cover made for the job. Store mattresses flat, not upright, so they do not warp, and put nothing heavy on top.
Empty, defrost and dry completely, at least 24 hours with the door open. A fridge that goes into storage damp comes out with a smell that is hard to get rid of. In the unit leave the fridge door slightly open. Drain the washing machine and secure the drum with the transit bolts if you have them.
Best in the original box. If you do not have it, wrap in a blanket and store upright. Pack cables and remotes in a bag taped to the device. Take the batteries out of remotes and small devices so they do not leak.
Wrap each item separately in packing paper or bubble wrap, in small, strong boxes. Fill the gaps with paper so nothing moves. Write “fragile” on two sides of the box, and put these boxes on top, never at the bottom of a stack.
Wash and dry well, and pack in closed cardboard boxes or plastic containers with lids. Not in plastic bags, which trap moisture. Hanging clothes can go in a wardrobe box and save ironing at the end. Add moisture absorbers to every box.
Small boxes only, because books are very heavy. Lay books flat, not on the spine. Pack important documents, albums and photos in sealed containers, and photograph the irreplaceable originals beforehand.
What stays out: fresh or perishable food, flammable and hazardous materials, gas, fuel, paint, plants and animals. If a box is in doubt, open it and check before the move.

Many people looking for storage in Israel end up choosing a solution that puts their belongings at risk. These are the traps worth knowing:
Flammable materials, facilities operating without a fire-safety permit and without meeting the electrical requirements can cause short circuits and fires that put your belongings at risk. Check that the facility meets fire regulations and electrical requirements.
Outdoor storage is exposed to the weather, such as high temperatures. When it comes to household contents with sensitive items, this kind of storage can do irreversible damage to the things you care about. Look for a unit inside a closed, protected building.
Sometimes declarations about contents insurance simply have no cover behind them. For peace of mind, ask for the policy details and read its terms.

No. A container without thermal insulation is exposed to heat and humidity that damage furniture and electronics. Our containers are for business storage only, and for household contents the indoor units are the right choice.

Dismantle large furniture, wrap sofas and mattresses in breathable covers rather than sealed plastic, pack textiles in closed boxes and label every box. Inside the unit leave a narrow aisle, and put what you might need by the door.
Some moving companies offer to store your contents in their warehouse. Usually that is a pallet in a shared warehouse, without independent access, sometimes with a fee every time an item is taken out. In a private unit only you have the key, you come whenever suits you during opening hours, and you can combine the move with us in one quote. For more than a few weeks, a private unit is almost always cheaper and more convenient.
