You pay for the volume you need and the period you need, with no registration fee, no charge for the lock and no charge per visit. Insurance is the only add-on, on the value you declare.

What affects the price: size (you pay for volume, so it pays to dismantle and stack), the branch (the Sharon and Jerusalem area are cheaper than Tel Aviv), the floor in Yakum (upper floor cheaper than ground floor), and the commitment track: no commitment, six months to a year, or over a year. Two money-saving tips: simple shelving in the unit doubles the usable volume, because you store upwards and not only on the floor. And goods that arrive on pallets are worth breaking down and stacking in the unit, unless they leave whole as they came in, in which case a container saves the work.

Self storage is the simple solution: your space, your key, and you manage it. If you need fulfilment (receiving, picking and shipping by a third party), that is a logistics warehouse, which we do not offer.
For goods in bulk, pallets and heavy equipment we have a dedicated business container compound at the Kiryat Anavim branch, at the kibbutz entrance next to Route 1 near Jerusalem. The compound is accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so you can unload goods at six in the morning and collect them at ten at night. The truck drives up to the container and you unload directly.
The containers are 20 feet: a locked steel container that holds about 9 to 10 standard pallets or about 300 boxes, from ₪1,180 a month on the over-two-years commitment track (the price varies by track). You can take several containers, and combine a container for goods with a unit inside the building for equipment and paperwork.
Good to know: the containers are for business storage only. For household contents, furniture and personal belongings we always recommend a unit inside a closed building, because summer heat and humidity damage upholstery, wood and electronics. More in the apartment contents storage guide.

A business needs to get into its unit often, and fast. So this is how we built it: entry with your own key (at Kibbutz Galuyot and the container compound with a chip, at any hour), no appointment and no waiting for anyone. Parking next to the units, moving-truck access, and trolleys on site to move boxes and small pallets from the vehicle to the unit. In Yakum the units are inside a closed building and raised off the floor, so the goods stay dry even in winter.
If you have employees or couriers who need access, you decide who gets a key. Your unit is private: none of our staff enters it without you.
Stock is money, so every branch is built on the same five protective rings: closed-circuit cameras and access control (burglary protection), regular pest control and cleaning (pest protection), a closed, insulated building (heat and cold protection), compliance with fire and electrical standards and insurers’ requirements (fire protection), and units raised off the floor (moisture protection).
Insurance: insurance is not included in the price. You can insure stock and equipment with comprehensive cover on the full value you declare, at ₪1.8 per ₪1,000 of declared value. A business storing goods worth ₪100,000 insures them for ₪180 a month.
What is not allowed: fresh or perishable food, flammable and hazardous materials, gas, fuel, plants and animals.
Three tracks: no commitment (month to month, for a season or a project), six months to a year, and over a year at the lowest monthly price. A business storing permanent stock picks the long track; a seasonal business (before the holidays or summer, for example) takes a unit for two months and hands it back.
Size is flexible too: start with a small unit and go up when the stock grows, or take two adjacent units. Moving between units is a simple arrangement with the branch. And when the business scales down, you scale down and pay less.
